한국 성인을 대상으로 구축한 대규모의 유전체 코호트 연구를 통해 한국인에게 발생하는 질병의 원인을 규명하고 예방하는데 큰 기여를 할 수 있기를 기대한다. 또한 국내뿐 아니라 국제적으로 활발히 연구하여 개인 및 집단 특성에 맞는 암 예방을 위한 지침을 마련하고 인류의 건강증진에 기여하고자 한다.
